SERVICE INSTALLING GUIDE RAILS

1. Detach door seals and roof trim in area of door opening.



2. Unscrew mounting screws of guide rails.



3. Open up holes in roof frame and adapters to diameter of 4.5 mm.







4. Guide in adapters and guide rails with M 4 x 10 countersunk screws on top and secure from bottom with lock washers and nuts.



5. Drill 4.5 mm dia. holes in guide rails and front area of roof frame according to given dimensions. Open up upper section of guide rail from 4.5 mm dia. to 8.5 mm dia. with a drill and deburr edges.



6. Bolt guide rails on roof frame, using M 4 x 10 flat head screws and lock washers. Cover front nuts with felt.



7. Install roof trim and door seals.
