With Removable Guide Tube

Removal
- Remove engine/transmission assembly and unscrew transmission from engine.





Remove both oval head countersunk screws on guide tube. Pull out guide tube with a locally made hook.





- Drive out seal with Special Tool P 381.

Installation





- Drive in new seal against stop with Special Tool P 381.
- Install new 0-ring on neck of guide tube.
- Place assembly sleeve P 382 on splines of input shaft.
- Give sealing lip of seal in guide tube and 0-ring on neck of guide tube a light coat of oil.
- Insert guide tube in correct position to the mounting screws.





A = Assembly sleeve P 382

- Screw in and torque mounting screws to 9 Nm (6.5 ft lb)
- Coat release bearing guide tube with multi purpose grease containing MoS2.
