Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install thermostat housing to cylinder block retaining bolts (4) ensuring a new block gasket (1) and rubber grommets (3) has been fitted and tighten bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




2. Install the heater pipe assembly to thermostat housing retaining bolts (5) ensuring new O-ring seals (6) have been fitted and tighten bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Install the heater pipe assembly (4) to cylinder head (2) retaining bolt (3) and tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).
