Side Window (Right)

AIR OUTLET REPLACEMENT - SIDE WINDOW (RIGHT)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Using the finger opening, pull the right instrument panel (I/P) compartment access hole cover from the I/P trim pad. Remove the right I/P compartment access hole cover.




2. Loosen the connector bolt. Disconnect the body wiring harness from the accessory wiring junction block. Pull the harness away from the block for access.
3. Reposition the wires at the I/P opening for access.




4. Use a flexible driver with a PHILLIPS(R) bit to remove the side window defog outlet grille screw.




5. Remove the side window defog outlet grille.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the side window defog outlet grille to the I/P trim pad.




2. Use a flexible driver with a PHILLIPS(R) bit to install the side window defog outlet grille screw.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Connect the body wiring harness to the accessory wiring junction block. Tighten the connector bolt.

Tighten the connector bolt to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

4. Reposition and install the wire retainers at the I/P opening.




5. Install the right I/P compartment access hole cover to the I/P trim pad.
