Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front

SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT - LEFT FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front floor rear console.
2. Position the front seat (1) in a forward position in order to gain access to the seat belt switch electrical connector (2), on the left front buckle only.
3. Disconnect the seat belt switch electrical connector (2), on the left front buckle only.




4. Remove the following components from the front seat:
- The screw
- The inner adjuster finish cover (2)
- The bolt
- The seat belt buckle (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the seat belt buckle (1) to the front seat. Secure the buckle with the bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt buckle bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

2. Install the inner adjuster finish cover (2) to the front seat. Secure the cover with the screw.




3. Connect the seat belt switch electrical connector (2), on the left front buckle only.
4. Install the front floor rear console.
5. Return the front seat (1) to the upright position, if the left front buckle was removed.
