Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair

STABILIZER SHAFT LINK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.







2. Remove the stabilizer link nut (3) from the stabilizer link bolt (6).
3. Remove the following components:
- The stabilizer link bolt (6)
- The insulator (5)
- The spacer (4)


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE







1. Install the following components:
- The spacer (4)
- The insulator (5)
- The stabilizer (6)

2. Install the stabilizer link nut (3) attaching the stabilizer link to the stabilizer link bolt (6).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Fastener Notice


Tighten
Tighten the nut until the nut meets the end of the bolt threads for torque value. Tighten the nut to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.
