SPOILER REPLACEMENT - REAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the nut access plugs (1) from the rear compartment lid as necessary.
2. Remove the bolts from rear compartment lid spoiler.




3. Remove the nuts (2) from the rear compartment lid spoiler.




4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the rear compartment lid spoiler.




5. Remove the rear compartment lid spoiler (1).
6. Remove the high mount stop lamp.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the high mount stop lamp.




2. Position the rear compartment lid spoiler (1) on the rear compartment lid.




3. Pull gently on the spoiler wire harness in order to seat the grommet.
4. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the rear compartment lid spoiler.




5. Install the nuts (3) to the rear compartment lid spoiler.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid spoiler nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

6. Install the rear compartment lid spoiler bolts (4).

Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid spoiler bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).




7. Install the retaining nut access plugs.
