Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia.




2. Remove the energy absorber.
3. Remove the nuts from the impact bar.
4. Remove the impact bar.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the impact bar to the rear end structure.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the impact bar retaining nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the energy absorber.
4. Install the rear bumper fascia.
