Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Opening

Removal Procedure





1. Open the rear door.
2. Remove the lower center pillar trim. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar) in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the rear quarter lower trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
4. Remove the weatherstrip.
Starting in the center bottom of the weatherstrip, pull the weatherstrip upward and away from the pinch-weld flange.
5. Remove the weatherstrip from the door opening.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the weatherstrip to the door opening.

1. Start in the center bottom of the pinch-weld flange.
2. Push the weatherstrip and retainers on the flange.
3. Ensure that the weatherstrip and retainers are fully seated on the flange before installing the rear carpet retainer.

2. Install the lower center pillar trim. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar) in Interior Trim.
3. Install the rear quarter lower trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
4. Inspect the door for proper operation.
5. Close the door.
