Dampener Replacement - I/P Compartment

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Compartment - Replacement) .




2. Remove the screw from the I/P compartment dampener.
3. Remove the I/P compartment dampener.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the I/P compartment dampener.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the screw to the I/P compartment dampener.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Instrument Panel Compartment - Replacement) .
