Speaker Replacement - Front

SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Carefully disengage the speaker grille retainers.
2. Remove the speaker grille.




3. Remove the center speaker screws.




4. Lift the speaker out of the opening. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the center speaker.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the center speaker to the I/P. Connect the electrical connector.




2. Lower the speaker into the opening.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the center speaker screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Align the speaker grille to the I/P. Make sure the logo is facing the driver.
5. Press the speaker grille into the I/P.
