Knee Bolster Reinforcement Replacement
KNEE BOLSTER REINFORCEMENT REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Disable the SIR system.
3. Remove the instrument panel (I/P).
4. Remove the from the I/P driver knee bolster reinforcement bolts.
5. Remove the I/P driver knee bolster reinforcement.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the I/P driver knee bolster reinforcement.
2. Install the I/P driver knee bolster reinforcement bolts in the sequence shown.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. Install the I/P.
4. Enable the SIR system.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
