Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front carpet retainer from the vehicle.
2. Pull the front door opening weather-strip (1) loose and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply weather-strip adhesive GM P/N 12345096, or equivalent, to the front door opening weather-strip (1).
2. Install the front door opening weather-strip (1) onto the front door pinchweld, pressing into place until fully seated.
3. Install the front carpet retainer to the vehicle.
