Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve and/or Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure







1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the check valve (1) on the vacuum brake booster.







2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) from the vacuum pipe at the engine.
3. Remove the vacuum hose.
4. Remove the check valve from the rubber grommet on the vacuum brake booster.



Installation Procedure







1. Install the check valve into the rubber grommet on the vacuum brake booster.
2. Install the vacuum hose.
3. Connect the vacuum hose (1) to the vacuum pipe at the engine.







4. Connect the vacuum hose to the check valve (1) on the vacuum brake booster.
