Windshield Wiper Circuit Breaker - New Part Available

If the windshield wipers are activated while they are frozen to the windshield or buried in heavy snow, the fuse may open to protect the wiper motor. For greater customer convenience, a new self-resetting circuit breaker, P/N 92170631, is now available. The circuit breaker is a press-in type which replaces the fuse.

The windshield wiper fuse is labeled FRONT WIPER and is fuse # 18 in the passenger compartment electrical center located under the driver's side of the I/P panel.
