Instrument Panel (I/P) Air Outlet Ducts Replacement
INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) AIR OUTLET DUCTS REPLACEMENTRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel trim pad.
2. Remove the Inflatable restraint Instrument panel module.
3. Remove the retaining screw from the driver side outer duct (4).
4. Separate the driver side inner duct (3) from the outer duct.
5. Remove the inner duct from the HVAC module outlet.
6. Remove the driver side inner and outer ducts from the vehicle.
7. Remove the passenger side duct (1) from the HVAC module outlet.
8. Remove the passenger side duct from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the passenger side duct (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the passenger side duct to the HVAC module outlet.
3. Install the driver side inner duct (3) and outer duct (4) to the vehicle.
4. Install the inner duct to the HVAC module outlet.
5. Connect the driver side inner duct to the outer duct.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
6. Secure the driver side outer duct with the retaining screw.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 Ib in).
7. Install the Inflatable restraint Instrument panel module.
8. Install the instrument panel trim pad.
