Recirculation Actuator Replacement
RECIRCULATION ACTUATOR REPLACEMENTRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the left side closeout insulator panel.
2. Remove the body control module (BCM).
3. Disconnect the vacuum line (12) from the actuator (11).
4. Remove the clip (6), spacers (5) and actuator rod (7) from the lever (4).
5. Remove the actuator retaining screws (9).
6. Remove the actuator from the HVAC unit (10).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the actuator (11) to the HVAC unit (10).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Secure the actuator with the retaining screws (9).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 4 N.m (35 Ib in).
3. Install the clip (6), spacers (5) and actuator rod (7) to the lever (4).
4. Connect the vacuum line (12) to the actuator.
5. Install the BCM.
6. Install the left side closeout insulator panel.
