SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - FRONT

Removal Procedure





1. Ensure that the radio is turned off.
2. Remove the instrument panel outer cover.
3. Remove the windshield defroster grille.
4. Disconnect the speaker harness connectors (1), from the speaker.
5. Remove the speaker retaining screw (2), then pull the speaker rearward to remove.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the speaker in the vehicle.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the speaker retaining screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the speaker retaining screw to 2 N.m (18 Ib in).

3. Connect the speaker harness connectors (1), to the speaker.
4. Install the windshield defroster grille.
5. Install the instrument panel outer cover.
