Intake Manifold Upper

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Fuel injector sight shield and air intake duct.






3. Spark plug wires on right side of engine and set aside.
4. Manifold vacuum source.
5. Depressurize fuel lines.
6. Fuel rail.
7. EGR heat shield.






8. Cable bracket to cylinder head mounting bolt.
9. Throttle cable.
10. Throttle body support bracket.






11. Upper intake manifold bolts and upper manifold.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Upper intake manifold gasket.






2. Upper intake manifold.

Tightening Sequence:

3. Upper intake manifold bolts and stud. Torque in sequence to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.)
4. Throttle body support bracket.
5. Throttle cable.






6. Cable bracket to cylinder head mounting bolt.
7. EGR heat shield.
8. Fuel rail.
9. Manifold vacuum source.






10. Spark plug wires on right side of engine.
11. Fuel injector sight shield and air intake duct.
12. Negative battery cable.
