Automatic Control (RPO C68, CJ2)

HEATER CORE (RPO C68 or CJ2) Removal and Installation


TOOL REQUIRED

J 37097 Mubea Hose Clamp Pliers (or equivalent)

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Drain cooling system.

Heater Hoses:

2. Heater hoses from heater core, using J 37097.
3. Programmer. Service and Repair
4. Retaining screws and heater core cover.
5. Retaining screws and heater core from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Heater core into vehicle and attaching screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in)

2. Heater core cover and attaching screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in)

3. Programmer. Service and Repair

Heater Hoses:

4. Heater hoses to heater core using tool J 37097. (or equivalent)
5. Fill cooling system.
