1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect lower radiator hose and allow cooling system to drain.
3. Remove timing belt as described under TIMING BELT.
4. Remove timing belt lower rear cover.
5. Remove water pump attaching bolts and water pump, Fig. 16.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Prior to installation, coat water pump seal and sealing surface with suitable silicone grease, Fig. 17.
