Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove serpentine drive belt.
2. Remove inner fender shield.
3. Remove A/C compressor drive belt, if equipped.
4. Remove crankshaft pulley attaching bolt and remove pulley.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Prior to installation of crankshaft pulley attaching bolt, apply Loctite 242 or equivalent to bolt threads, then torque bolt to specification listed under SPECIFICATIONS/MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS/TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS.
