Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Front Engine Mounts:

FRONT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Support engine using tool No. J28467-A or equivalent, then remove two mount to bracket attaching bolts, Fig. 1.
3. Remove two top mount attaching bolts, then raise and support vehicle.
4. Remove lower mount attaching bolt, then the engine mount.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque front engine mount attaching bolts to specifications.

Fig. 2 Rear Engine Mounts:

REAR
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Support engine using tool No. J28467-A or equivalent, then remove two mount to bracket attaching bolts, Fig. 2.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Remove two lower mount attaching nuts and reinforcement, then the engine mount.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque rear engine mount attaching bolts to specifications.
