Removal

Fig. 47 Exploded view of throttle body injector assembly:

1. Remove air cleaner assembly.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure as described under ``Fuel System Pressure Relief Procedure.''
3. Disconnect electrical connectors from idle air control valve, throttle position sensor and injector.
4. Disconnect vacuum hoses from throttle body injector (TBI) assembly, Fig. 47.
5. Disconnect throttle linkage and return spring.
6. Disconnect fuel supply and return lines from TBI assembly.
7. Remove air filter gasket.
8. Remove TBI unit-to-engine attaching bolts, then the TBI assembly.
