Assembly

1. Clean gasket mounting surface, then install tube manifold unit gasket.
2. Install tube manifold attaching screws and manifold unit to throttle body assembly.
3. Measure distance from Idle Air Control (IAC) valve mounting flange to pintle point. Distance should be no greater than 1/8inch. If distance is greater, adjustment must be made.
4. Install O-ring on IAC valve.
5. Install IAC valve in throttle body assembly with attaching screws.
6. Install throttle position sensor (TPS) on throttle body assembly with throttle valve in closed position. TPS drive tangs should be aligned with flats on end of shaft.
7. Install TPS attaching screw and washer assembly on TPS.
8. Install fuel meter to throttle body gasket. Match gasket with openings in throttle body assembly.
9. Connect fuel meter assembly to throttle body and gasket.
10. Before installation, apply locking compound to threads of fuel meter body attaching screws and washer assemblies.
11. Install manifold attaching bolts.
12. Install air filter gasket.
13. Install fuel inlet and outlet fittings with seals on fuel meter body assembly.
14. Connect fuel inlet and outlet lines.
15. Install fuel injector with upper and lower O-rings.
16. Apply locking compound to injector bracket screw.
17. Install injector bracket and screw.
18. Install regulator diaphragm assembly in fuel meter assembly groove.
19. Install regulator spring seat and spring in regulator cover assembly.
20. Apply locking compound to regulator attaching screws.
21. Install regulator cover unit over diaphragm assembly. Ensure notches on both assemblies are properly aligned to prevent leakage.
22. Install pressure regulator attaching screws.
