A new glove box lock assembly has been released for production and service. The new lock assembly will decrease glove box lock efforts. Should it become necessary to replace the lock assembly follow the procedure in the Service Manual. New part numbers are:

17989929 - Lock Assembly

17985665 - Bracket Lock Assembly

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
