Some customer comments have been received on the subject condition on the 1988 Grand Prix.
This condition can be addressed by replacing the accessory I/P trim panel with P/N 10059625 (paint to match).
The service part has a larger opening (top to bottom) for the HVAC control, allowing more clearance between trim panel and blower speed buttons.
Vehicles produced after VIN JF219222, have the trim panel with the larger opening for the HVAC control.
