Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Drain engine oil from crankcase.
4. Remove flywheel housing shield or clutch housing cover as applicable.
5. Remove starter motor.
6. Remove oil pan attaching bolts and the oil pan.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Apply a 1/8 inch bead of RTV sealer to oil pan sealing flange.
