View A of the wire routing diagram, shown on page 6D5-1 of the 1988 Fiero Service Manual is incorrect. The correct wire routing sequences for the starter and the 2.5L engine (left side) are depicted in Figures 1 and 2 below.. Incorrect wire routing could cause the starter to run unexpectedly if the wiring harness has been worn through.
