Care should be taken when installing or replacing rocker arm cover gaskets on the above engines. The gasket is preformed to fit the contour of the rocker arm cover and should be installed accordingly. (See illustration).
Failure to correctly install the gasket could create a path for leaks in this area.
NOTE: DIFFERENT RADIUSES AT CORNERS OF PRE-FORMED GASKET AND ROCKER ARM COVER. GASKET MUST BE INSTALLED IN COVER AS FORMED.
