Subject: COLD IDLE ROUGHNESS - 1983-1/2 PHOENIX WITH 2.5L ENGINE AND ONE-BOARD ECM
Some 1983 1/2 Phoenix with 2.5L engine, automatic transaxle, and one-board ECM (previously covered in Bulletin 83-I-102, Section 6), may experience a rough idle when the engine is cold.
This condition may be corrected by installing a new PROM, Part Number 1226725.
