Engine Oil Pan Gaskets - Service Precautions

Subject: ENGINE OIL PAN GASKETS - 4.3L V-6 (VIN CODE T) AND 5.7L V-8 (VIN CODE N)
The oil pan gasket on the engines listed above contain a stamped steel core with cork bonded to each side. If the cork comes off, the sharp steel edge will be exposed.
