Automatic Level Control Sensor Link Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.





Note: When removing the link, do NOT bend or break the sensor arm.

3. Remove the automatic level control sensor link from the tie rod ball stud.
4. Remove the ball stud from the rear axle tie rod.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the ball stud to the rear axle tie rod and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
2. Install the automatic level control sensor link to the tie rod ball stud.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Install the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
