Liftgate Wedge Replacement - Body Side

Removal Procedure




1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the bolt (3) securing the wedge (2) to the body side.
3. Remove the wedge from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the wedge (2) to the body side inner panel and index the locking tab to the body panel.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the bolt (3) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Close the liftgate.
