UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD

DISASSEMBLE
1. Accelerator control cable bracket bolts and bracket.
2. Throttle body bolts, throttle body and gasket.
3. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) bolts, EGR gaskets, and EGR tube assembly.
4. Power brake booster vacuum fitting.

CLEAN
- Gasket surfaces.
- Manifold bolts and studs.

ASSEMBLE
1. EGR tube assembly, gaskets, EGR and bolts.

TIGHTEN
- EGR bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

2. Throttle body gasket, throttle body and bolts.

TIGHTEN
- Throttle body bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

3. Accelerator control cable bracket and bolts.

TIGHTEN
- Bracket bolts to 13 Nm (115 lb. in.).

4. Power brake booster vacuum fitting.
