Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Open deck lid.
2. Route seat belt through seat belt guide.
3. Open convertible top and expose #4 bow.

4. Remove screw attaching retractor to bulkhead.
5. Slide seat forward.

6. Remove anchor bolt.
7. Remove fastener attaching quarter trim panel to bulkhead.
8. Route seat belt through the seat belt guide.
9. Remove retractor from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position retractor on vehicle.
2. Align the locating tab under the retractor to the locating slot on bulkhead.
3. Install anchor bolt and tighten to 40 Nm (350 in. lbs.) torque.
4. Route seat belt through the seat belt guide.
5. Install torx screw attaching retractor to bulkhead.
6. Install fastener attaching quarter trim panel to bulkhead.
7. Verify proper operation.
