Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

Fuel Pump Check:

CAUTION: Fuel system pressure is high. Always release fuel system pressure prior to opening system.

1. Remove the rear seat and disconnect the fuel pump connector below the rear seat.
2. After starting the engine and then letting it stop naturally, turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Connect the fuel pump connector.
