Trim Panel: Service and Repair

SERVICE POINTS OF REMOVAL





3. Removal Of Front Pillar Trim
1. Remove the front roof side trim.
2. Remove the front pillar trim clips one after another from the top by pulling toward you to remove the front pillar trim.





4. Removal Of Cowl Side Trim, Upper
1. Remove the front pillar trim.
2. Remove the door opening weatherstrip.
3. Remove the hooked portion of the upper cowl side trim, from the hole provided in the body, and remove the upper cowl side trim, by pulling it down.





5. Removal Of Cowl Side Trim, Lower
Remove the scuff plate. Remove the mounting screws and remove the lower cowl side trim.





6. Removal Of Center Pillar Trim, Lower
Bend the center pillar trim, lower as illustrated and release it from the center pillar trim bracket and belt holder flanges. Remove the center pillar trim, lower.





7. Removal Of Center Pillar Trim, Upper
1. Remove the front roof side trim.
2. Remove the center pillar trim, lower.
3. Remove the front seat belt sash guide and belt holder.
4. Unfasten the clips and remove the center pillar trim, upper.






8. Removal Of Front Scuff Plate
Unfasten the clips and remove the front scuff plate.





9. Removal Of Rear Scuff Plate
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Unfasten the clips and remove the rear scuff plate.





10. Removal Of Speaker Garnish And Speaker
Using the trim stick, pry up the lower portion of the speaker garnish and remove the speaker garnish from the speaker bracket.





13. Removal Of Lower Quarter Trim
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and seatback.
2. Remove the rear scuff plate.
3. Remove the trimming plate.
4. Remove the liftgate weatherstrip.
5. Remove the lower quarter trim attaching screws.
6. Remove the rear speakers from the quarter trims. (Vehicles with 4-speaker type stereo)
7. Move the lower quarter trim forward and remove it.

NOTE: Separate the projections of the lower quarter trim (shown by the light colored arrows) from the quarter trim bracket.













14. Removal Of Upper Quarter Trim
1. Remove the lower quarter trim.
2. Remove the front roof side trim.
3. Remove the liftgate weatherstrip.
4. Remove the upper quarter trim attaching screws and clips.
5. Remove the upper quarter trim.
