Fig. 20 Checking Oil Pump Clearances:

Check oil pump rotor to housing clearances and cover. Side clearance should be .0024 to .0047 inch. Tip clearance should be .0016 to .0017 inch. Body clearance should be .0039 to .0063 inch. Drive shaft to cover clearance should be .0008 to .0020 inch.
