Blower Motor: Service and Repair

On models with airbag restraint system, battery ground cable must be disconnected and isolated before performing this procedure. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment and personal injury.
The blower motor is accessible from under right side of instrument panel.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect blower motor feed wire, then remove blower motor housing to heater-A/C housing attaching nuts and separate blower motor housing from upper housing.
3. Remove blower motor plate attaching screws, then remove wire grommet, mounting plate and blower motor and wheel as an assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
