Installation
Remove approximately 1/3 of brake fluid from reservoir.1. Push piston back into bore until bottomed.

2. Install new outboard pad in recess of caliper. No freeplay should exist between brake pad flanges and caliper fingers. If up and down (vertical) movement of the pad shows freeplay, pad must be removed and flanges bent to provide a slight interference fit. Reinstall pad after modification. If pad cannot be finger snapped into place, use light C-clamp pressure.

3. Position inboard pad with flanges inserted in adapter ways.
4. Carefully slide caliper assembly into adapter and over the disc while aligning caliper on machined ways of adapter. Ensure dust boot is not pulled out from groove when piston and boot slide over the inboard pad.

5. Install anti-rattle springs and retaining clips and torque to specifications. The inboard pad anti-rattle spring is to be installed on top of the retainer spring plate.
