1. Dip new piston seals in clean brake fluid. Work seal gently into the groove until seal is properly seated, ensuring seal is not twisted or rolled. Do not reuse old seals.
2. Lubricate piston boot generously with clean brake fluid, then position over piston.
3. Install piston into bore and push past seal until piston bottoms in bore.
4. Position dust boot in counterbore and drive boot onto counterbore with tool C-4689 and handle C-4171.
5. Install brake hose to caliper using new seal washers.
6. Install caliper and pads, refer to Brakes and Traction Control/Brakes/Disc Brake System/Brake Pad/Service and Repair. Service and Repair
