SERVICE PRECAUTION


As outlined in the 1989 Powertrain Diagnostics Procedures Book, Publication #81-699-9009, it is important that the front driving wheels not be in contact with any surface before proceeding with pressure testing. If the front driving wheels are in contact with some surface, it may result in forward motion of the vehicle.


This precaution should be followed whenever the transmission is being pressure tested.
