14 Fault Message Fused J2 Sense

Perform No Start Test 9 before proceeding.

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect 4-way connector from auto shutdown relay.
2. Inspect connector terminals for damage. If terminals are damaged, repair as necessary, then proceed to Test 16.
3. If terminals are satisfactory, disconnect 14-way connector from SMEC and inspect terminals for damage.
4. If terminals are damaged, repair as necessary, then proceed to Test 16.
5. If terminals are satisfactory, connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 3 of 14-way connector and dark blue/white wire at auto shutdown relay.
6. If ohmmeter shows continuity, replace the SMEC and perform Test 16.
7. If ohmmeter shows no continuity, repair open in dark blue/white wire between auto shutdown relay and SMEC, then perform Test 16.
