Effective in February, 1988, with Engine No. FT9425 and later, the oil pump sprocket has been changed to a tapered design to reduce timing belt noise. The new tapered design sprocket can easily be identified by the letter "T" stamped on it as indicated in Figure 1. The new sprocket is interchangeable with earlier built engines. The part number of the new sprocket is MD131934.
