Fuel Injector Test

Fuel Injection Mixer:

1. Remove the air intake pipe, and disconnect the high voltage cable from the ignition coil.
2. Turn the ignition to the START position and observe the end of the injector with the brown connector through the air inlet of the injection mixer. With the key in this position the injector should fire. If the injection state is poor, or the injector does not fire, it will need to be replaced.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and observe the injector with the brown connector for any leakage. If the injector leaks after the ignition is switched off, it will need to be replaced.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the injector with the black connector. Remove the electrical connector from the injector with the brown connector, and connect it to the injector with the black connector.
5. Turn the ignition to the START position and observe the end of the injector with the black connector through the air inlet of the injection mixer. With the key in this position the injector should fire. If the injection state is poor, or the injector does not fire, it will need to be replaced.
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and observe the injector with the black connector for any leakage. If the injector leaks after the ignition is switched off, it will need to be replaced.
7. Reconnect both injector connectors to their proper locations, and reinstall the air intake pipe.
8. Reconnect the ignition coil, START and run the engine to verify correct injector operation.
