A/T - A404 Late 1-2 Shift After Operating in Reverse
TSB: 85-34SUBJECT: A-404
COMPLAINT:
On 1981-83 units, the 1-2 shift is very late after operating in reverse.
CAUSE:
The cause may be the throttle valve is hanging after reverse engagement.
CORRECTION:
To correct the problem, replace the throttle valve with part # 4207230. The new valve should check per the diagram.
