Oil Pump Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan and gasket.
2. Remove oil pump mounting screws, then the oil pump from engine block.




INSTALLATION
1. Install oil pump with shaft in bore until pump mounting face contacts engine block. It may be necessary to rotate pump body to engage pump shaft tongue in distributor shaft groove.
2. Install oil pump mounting screws.
3. Install oil pan gasket and oil pan.
