Transmission Cooler Replacement

REMOVAL
The in-tank transaxle oil cooler is serviced with the radiator as an assembly. Refer to Radiator for procedures.

AUXILIARY TRANSAXLE COOLER (41TE EQUIPPED)
1. Remove front bumper fascia.
2. Disconnect lines from cooler.
3. Remove cooler attaching screws.

4. Remove cooler (Fig. 42).

INSTALLATION
Refer to Radiator for installation procedure of the in-tank transaxle oil cooler.

AUXILIARY TRANSAXLE COOLER (41TE EQUIPPED)
1. Install transaxle oil cooler and mounting screws.
2. Connect cooler lines. Tighten hose clamps to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
3. Install front bumper fascia.
4. Start engine. Check and adjust fluid level as necessary.
