Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

NOTE: Be sure the ignition switch is in the off position.

Removal

Emission Component Locations:

1. Disconnect the canister purge valve electrical connector.
2. Loosen the canister purge valve vapor hose clamps.
3. Remove the canister purge valve.

Installation

1. Connect the canister purge valve vapor hoses.
2. Tighten the hose clamps.
3. Connect the canister purge valve electrical connector.
4. Start the engine and check the operation of the purge valve.
